Mindfulness Workshop (Online)
Mindfulness is a practice that supports us to live more relaxed, happy, and focused lives. But what IS mindfulness? And how do you DO it? In this free online workshop I'll talk about mindfulness from my experience, and offer suggestions and practices that will help you have more mindfulness in your daily life. There will be space to share about your own experience and to ask questions, if you would like to do so. Alternatively, you can come along and sit quietly, camera off, and practice with us. Drawing on my experience with the Plum Village tradition and others, I invite you to come and practice mindful living with me, for one hour on Wednesday 25th, from 7-8.15pm Irish Standard Time.
Sounding Silence (Sound Bath)
This Sound Bath will focus on the interplay between silence and sound, using Deep Listening meditations, Gongs, Singing Bowls, and other instruments, to explore the relationship between the macro and microcosmic worlds. The session will begin at 6.30 Sharp and involve 15 minutes of mindful movements, followed by a Deep Listening meditation to begin our journey with the sounds.
Guided Meditation ONLINE
Take some time for yourself to care for your body and mind. Learn to relax and let go of tension in the body. Discover a series of approaches and methods to working with meditation and meditation practices. Gregory Jackson (New Perspective Holistics) is a trained teacher of qigong, quantum coherence therapy, and sound therapy. He also has a Ph.D. in Philosophy. His extensive training and experience as a mindfulness practitioner and educator creates a warm, safe, introspective, and encouraging environment to learn and practice meditation.
Mindful Movements (Qigong) ONLINE
Qigong (Mindful Movements) is a modern take on Ancient Chinese self-healing moving and meditative practices. Literally translating as ‘life energy cultivation’, this practice combines these ancient roots with a contemporary focus on somatic awareness and developing connection between mind and body. While our routines can become a little more unpredictable during the summer months, take a little time each week to catch your breath, check in with yourself, and practice Qigong (Mindful Movements) with me online.
Qigong, Leixlip
Join me for a 4-week course on the foundations of Qigong practice at the Parish Centre in Leixlip. This course will provide a safe space for you to care for your mind and body and release the stresses of the week. It will equip you with skills and tools that you can bring home and practice for yourself, to increase and sustain the benefits of the classes.
