Drawing on his background as a Qigong teacher, mindfulness practitioner, sound therapist, and philosophy lecturer, Gregory Jackson will facilitate 6 weeks on mind-body meditation and self-inquiry through mindfulness. These workshops will involve a mixture of gentle stretching and relaxation movements designed to ease stress in the body, and mindfulness meditation exercises to help us develop awareness of the body. Sound therapy instruments, such as Tibetan singing bowls, will be used to facilitate relaxation, as well as check-in circles to hold space for sharing and reflection. By taking an hour to unwind and develop compassion for and awareness of our minds and bodies, we can find our own path to letting-go and enjoying the moment.
